This course is one of the most fascinating specialties among the Yarin Shahaf courses. In the SFX course, you will learn unique makeup techniques for TV, fantasy and stage. A makeup artist who joins this course with experience in beauty makeup will enter a new world of makeup and discover this profession has unlimited place for imagination. The most comprehensive curriculum in Israel relating to special effects includes lessons such as basics of sketching and sculpting, face drawing, drag makeup, stage and theater makeup, sculpting and additions from different materials including wax, latex, silicone and gelatin, ageing, wounds, burns, work with hair to create beards and mustaches, making molds, various techniques of tooth sculpting, life casting, etc.

Who teaches the course?

The course is instructed and accompanied by the leading teachers, first-class makeup artists who specialize in teaching. The staff combines professionalism with warm personal approach for every student. Yarin Shahaf strictly selects the teaching staff and teaches the drag lessons in the course.

What prior knowledge is required for the course?

Specialization studies in this course are designed for makeup artists who have graduated from any makeup school, holding a professional makeup studies diploma (beauty, brides and stills photography). Do students in this course receive a kit of products?

At the beginning of the course, you will receive a kit containing makeup products and accessories required for practice in the classroom and of course for home practice too. The products in this kit complement the professional makeup course products and provide means of practicing all the special effects studied in the course.

What employment opportunities await graduates of the course?

This course provides makeup artists with specialization in extremely sought-after areas, such as movies, TV, theater, shows and others. In the current age of concept weddings, makeup stands in birthdays and private productions in clubs, the borders are fading and any large or medium production provides potential employment in body and fantasy makeup. The world of imagination now belongs to everyone!
