What are the eyelash pasting, lifting and welding techniques?
In recent years, the eyelash styling trend has been gaining popularity globally, and in Israel in particular. Many women emphasize their eyelashes and want to have eyelashes that are long, round, thick and full of volume, both for evening makeup designed for a particular event and for their everyday look. Following this, several different techniques for eyelash styling have been developed, enabling as much as possible a precise answer for the eye structure and for the client's needs and preferences.
Eyelash pasting is a common technique of lengthening, thickening and increasing the volume of natural eyelashes using artificial eyelashes. This popular technique is performed relatively quickly, particularly by professional makeup artists, and is intended to complete the makeup look and meet the client's needs based on the most preferred and suitable eyelash structure. Eyelash pasting can remain in place for several hours to several days and enables removing the eyelashes simply, quickly and independently.
Eyelash lifting is a technique that uses natural eyelashes only and provides a natural look similar to mascara. In this technique, the eyelashes are pasted up, affixed in the required form and painted with chemical substances such as keratin. Eyelash lifting is durable for two to three months.
Eyelash welding is a process in which artificial eyelashes are attached to the natural eyelashes using strong, durable glue, creating long, thick and massive looking eyelashes. This treatment may be performed in two ways: using single eyelashes, enabling selective attachment of artificial lashes, or a full eyelash line that provides, the length, arching form and color of the lashes according to the client's wish. This treatment is durable for a period of three weeks to one month.
In addition to the techniques, you will learn in the course everything you need to know about them in the most comprehensive manner, e.g. hygiene, eye diseases, instructing clients before and after treatment, handling possible problems, equipment maintenance and preservation, as well as practice and practical work with close professional accompaniment.
